Johne's Disease Risk Assessment Managment Plan
The Johne's Disease Risk Assessment Management Plan is now available as an online tutorial. The tutorial allows a dairy producer to customize management areas of the farm including: calving area, pre-weaned calf groups, post-weaned heifer groups, bred heifer groups, mature cows & bull groups, and additions and replacement groups. Educational components about Johne's Disease risks and management recommendations are provided based on input from the producer. Dairy producers are encouraged to discuss the management recommendations with their herd veterinarian. The online tutorial was produced by the University of Wisconsin with support from the National Milk Producers Federation and the Johne's Disease Integrated Program.
